Project Completion Update - Market St, Melbourne

We are thrilled to share that our team has successfully completed an exceptional project situated in the corporate office on Market St in Melbourne.

We delivered our premium flooring system, the Polished Concrete Skin, known for its high-end quality and extensive customization options. Our process involved meticulously installing custom mixed aggregates screed onto the existing floor, followed by precise grinding, refining, and polishing, resulting in a stunning and functional floor finish.

Key Elements:
1️⃣ The project successfully achieved the essential requirements of a P3 slip rating and a non-reflective Matte finish (with 10% gloss levels).
2️⃣ As the office was a working environment, we meticulously prepared and installed the floor during non-working hours, ensuring minimal disruption.

The journey began in mid-2022 when we had the privilege of collaborating with the project's architect, interior designer, and project manager. Through detailed discussions, we presented a range of floor finish options tailored to meet the client's specific requirements. After careful consideration, the polished concrete skin was chosen as the ideal choice, perfectly reflecting the client's image and reputation.

Creating the floor samples was an iterative process. As the polished concrete skin is a custom solution, the initial sample didn't fully capture the interior designer's vision. However, with productive meetings and inputs, we refined our approach and presented a sample that achieved 60% of their desired look. Continuous efforts led to additional samples until we achieved the final desired result.
