The project of flat roof renovation
IKEA, the furniture manufacturer known all over the globe, needed to restore the roof of its commercial warehouse in Zaragoza, Spain. To do so, they opted for the flat roof solution BMI Everguard TPO.
The advantages of this system include:
- Simple, easy installation
- High energy efficiency thanks to its reflective surface
- Great durability and guarantee
- Certification with Breeam, Leed and Verde sustainability labels.
To ensure the correct upkeep of the roofs waterproofed using the BMI EverGuard system, they needed TPO thermoplastic polyolefin sheets designed in different colours to protect the membrane covering maintenance access points, trapdoors, access doors, etc. The sheets are weather-resistant and includes a interlocking non-slip stripe in a chevron design which allows access to the roof for technicians.
