Fully Welded Frames

Outdoor furniture that features a fully welded construction combined with materials that are heavy-duty will always outlast any other construction methods. All steel products are reliable and are “built like a tank”. But if you don’t like the look of all steel products, combine fully welded frames with a heavy-duty batten choice. This will soften the appearance of the furniture while still providing a high level of strength.

Standard, Custom or Bespoke

All products are made to order. Standard products still provide you with material and colour choice, custom products are standard products with minor or major alterations in dimensions, non standard materials and finishes. And bespoke products are from concept designs. We work with you to realise any design and have 65 years of experience to draw on to know the strengths and weaknesses in any design.

Low Maintenance Materials

Timber battens are the preferred choice for outdoor school furniture. But unless you perform regular maintenance on the furniture, timber can start to look tired or weathered. Thats fine if you like that look, Draffin uses A grade Australian Spotted Gum that will still perform well with no maintenance. Or you can choose from many other lower maintenance batten materials like aluminium with various finishes or composite timber/recycled plastic.
