Timber-look aluminium uses an STF (Sublimation Transfer Film) based powder coat method, the sublimation process applies the grain pattern onto a base coat of powder coating. The effect is very close to the look of timber without the maintenance issues timber has.

End Caps

Timber-look aluminium battens are made from extruded aluminium. Part of the reason the aluminium is lightweight is due to the batten being hollow. For this reason the battens will require an “end cap” to seal the ends. Also made from aluminium, they are powdercoated a colour that matches the grain colour you have chosen.
