KRGS Doors, has been appointed to supply and install electric roller shutters for the new South
East Regional Hospital, delivering a wider range of new and enhanced medical services to the Bega Valley and broader community.
Working with Brookfield Multiplex the new South East Regional Hospital is located on a 17.5 hectare greenfield site approximately 1.5 kilometers from the Bega CBD, on the Tathra Road, and is the biggest infrastructure project to be undertaken in the Bega Valley Shire.
The South East Regional Hospital has a capital budget of $171.6 million with $160.1 million funded through the Australian Government's Health and Hospitals Fund (HHF) and a further $10 million by the NSW Government. An additional $1.474M has been added to the capital budget by the NSW Government for additional oral health services.
The appointment follows KRGS Doors' history in delivering successful health projects to New South Wales including the recently completed Sydney projects delivering the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and the Royal North Shore Hospital.
