Introducing a New, Waterfront Community Development Currently Underway in ACT - West Basin

The West Basin development, described as transformational and a priority project for the government, is part of the Canberra City to the Lake concept. West Basin is an opportunity to unite Canberra City with the Lake Burley Griffin foreshore.

Once complete, the waterfront will be a vibrant destination where people can meet, connect and celebrate. It will also be a premier place for festivals, events & include new parks, cafes, restaurants, plazas & streets for the community to utilise.

Focusing on the durability of the precast beams supporting the boardwalk, Penetron Admix was specified to ensure that these individual concrete elements surrounding the beautiful lakeside were permanently protected from the damaging effects of onset corrosion caused by moisture ingress.
