When in 1978, Hugues Chevalier  created his first models of contemporary sofas, he chose to be inspired by the Art Deco style by revisiting it. It is an aesthetic bias of design that goes against the tide of the time, but which earned him rapid recognition as one of the best designers of high-end contemporary furniture. Luxurious leathers , precious woods , wealth of details, attention to comfort, the know-how of the best craftsmen… Hugues Chevalier pays tribute to the work of interior designers of the 1930s and designs each piece of furniture as a unique piece.
