Forbo’s Marmoleum collection has been used to create a stunning new patterned floor at the St James Theatre in Wellington. The project was undertaken by Shand Shelton, who has been involved in the restrengthening of the theatre since 2016, with the construction phase beginning in 2019. However, the scope for a new, replacement Marmoleum patterned floor was not introduced until October 2021, just 10 months before the theatres re-opening and at the height of material supply challenges caused by Covid-19.

Led by Aedas Executive Director Kelvin Hu, the team was in joint venture with Architectural Design and Research Institute of Guangdong (GDAD) to deliver a vibrant work-life Innovation Port project.

Our design proposes a spatial anchor for an urban park in Hanyang old town and forms an architectural dialogue between the city’s natural geography and built heritage.

In 2023, the phenomenal trend mall "COSMO Chengdu" (hereinafter referred to as COSMO) was born. A curated commercial IP that integrates retail, flash mob, event, performance, social and exhibition is the biggest dark horse of commercial real estate this year. On Xiaohongshu, China's most popular social media platform, COSMO has become a hit, with more than 70,000 notes, and "COSMO" has become one of the most popular travel words in Chengdu, along with "teahouse" and "Sanxingdui". COSMO" has become a hot word for travel in Chengdu, along with "teahouse" and "Sanxingdui".

Chloride-induced corrosion of reinforcing steel is the main issue affecting the durability of reinforced concrete (RC) structures in coastal environments. In these environments, invasive chloride ions penetrate into concrete and create a corrosive environment for steel bars. This was the main concern of the client and architects for this beautiful concrete landscape located on the North Head sanctuary.
