When people view our architectural wire mesh product Wovenpanel®, the term used to describe it is commonly: unique. When compared to other decorative surfaces, this description is quite accurate. Wire mesh can be used to add texture, contrast, and warmth just about anywhere it’s installed.
In this residential kitchen designed by Andrea Burney, many of these distinct qualities already existed. The warm tonality spans from the timber floors to the unique ceiling features. The effect is further enhanced by the cosy ambient lighting beneath the benchtop. These types of thoughtful additions maximise the area with a refined aesthetic anyone would love to call home.
It’s here though, that Wovenpanel® really takes the kitchen to the next level. Rather than standing apart as a separate conversation piece, Loxford Wovenpanel® in brushed brass beautifully complements the inviting vibe of the space. With a sophisticated shimmer to refine the back and end panel of the breakfast bar, this seating area is awash in welcoming appeal.
With style abounding in every direction, the gorgeous Eco Granite sink is positioned to tackle any clean up task with ease. Measuring 490mm in length and 200mm deep, the bowl offers ample space. In keeping with a simple maintenance approach, the sink was undermounted. This setup is conveniently absent of any raised edges that can trap unwanted elements. Of course, like all Schock sinks manufactured in Germany, it’s durable, stain resistant, and made of the highest quality.
It's these kinds of projects that exemplify great design here in New Zealand. For more inspiring spaces featuring Wovenpanel® be sure to check the project archive here.
