New Zealand Kitchen Renovation – A Stunning Transformation (Before and After)

As our new friends over at Mooch Style mentioned on their Instagram page, kitchen renovations are a journey. This dramatic reveal is certainly an example of the transformative power of great design.

Our team at Archant were so inspired by the story of homeowners Shayden and Georgia, that we sponsored their redesign.

Choosing the Kitchen Design Elements

This behind-the-scenes video shows the design process as they viewed our stone samples and fell in love with the look and feel of Archant Metropolis Steel.

• The combination of textures in the Archant Quartz benchtop along with the knurled handles and timber grain work together in perfect unison. At the 10-minute mark of the video you’ll see the moment our homeowners first lay eyes on the beautiful knurled handles and T-Bar from our Manor Collection.
• The diamond pattern on these handles sets the tone in a narrative firmly founded on warmth and exclusiveness. Shayden and Georgia chose the longer (192mm) antique brass handles which are on-trend in 2022 as we recently reported.

Kitchen Renovation and Reveal (Video)

In this video you’ll see the amazing transformation of Shayden and Georgia’s 1940s brick home. The kitchen and laundry were renovated from start to finish, and the results are truly spectacular.

At the 24-minute mark, Shayden talks specifically about why the Archant Metropolis Quartz benchtop and the high-end feel of the Manor handles are his favourite part of the space.

He goes on to mention how the Manor handle's brass finish offers a nod to an "older vibe" which is a theme throughout their home.
