The timber acoustic panel consists of a high density panel with grooves or perforations on the surface and perforated holes on the backing, typically finished with acoustic tissue on the base layer.

It provides great acoustic performance for medium to low frequencies. The acoustic performance for high to medium frequencies is improved through the use of fibreglass or acoustic cotton as an additional backing layer.
