It all began with us wanting to renovate our new office with a great flooring product that looked great, was easy to install and maintain, and wouldn’t cost us an arm and a leg!

Sounded like an easy enough task, but boy, did we have our work cut out for us.

The market was flooded with options. There were ceramic tiles, but they were a real hassle to install and the pain of replacing them when a tile chips, stains or cracks put me right off! Natural wood and stone looked great, but the costs were exorbitant and maintaining them took more time than I had and cost more than what I wanted. Besides, I don’t know about you, but I would rather see a tree alive, than dead on my floor! I considered vinyl, but what I saw didn’t quite impress me. Although it was convenient to install, the so-called natural designs looked fake and the quality was dubious.

Thus, began my relentless search to find the perfect flooring product that could fill the gap between ceramic tiles and real wood and stone. After a lot of research and a seemingly endless search, I finally found what I was looking for. High quality vinyl manufactured in Europe by Parador. Vinyl so natural-looking and luxurious feeling, we just had to call it Luxe Natural-Look Vinyl.

And then I had my eureka moment! Why not bring this to every interior designer, architect or home/business owner in Singapore, who’s probably been on this quest too?

And so Europlast was born, out of the desire to find the perfect flooring product.
